Richard Jobson joined the Scottish punk band The Skids at the age of 16 in 1977 and released four albums and ten singles. A recent reformation of The Skids for a 40th Anniversary tour has led to the first new Skids album in 35 years, ‘Burning Cities’, produced by Youth. Jobson has made a successful career in film, directing and writing five feature films and producing numerous shorts. ’16 Years of Alcohol’ is a semi-autobiographical text became the basis for his award-winning directorial debut of the same name.
